What    to See & Do

Things to see, what to do, where to go around the island to make the most of your visit!

Explore the beautiful villages of Paros

 Naoussa

A fishing village turned into a hot spot with buzzing atmosphere from morning til night.

It has everything you might possibly need - bakeries, clothes boutiques,  ice cream parlours, museums, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, clubs, churches, boat tours ... even a winery

 Parikia

The port of Paros isn't just for catching the ferry - the capital of the island has plenty to uncover amidst its cobbled streets.

You should visit the iconic church, and if you're in luck witness a baptism/wedding or simply hear the bells ringing,
plus just a short distance away you can also have wander around the Archaeological Museum of Paros

Parikia is offers maybe some of the best sunset views - we recommend grabbing a table at Alexandros cafe before the sunset so you sit back and relax with a drink, watch the sun descend and fill the sky a whole palette of colours.

Lefkes

In the middle of the island, tucked away in the mountains, is this historic cycladic village.

It has narrow stone-paved pathways (for exploration by foot only) where you can find traditional architecture,
enticing tavernas, friendly locals and a happy, laid-back atmosphere.

If you're up for a hike - you can follow the path of the 'Byzantine Road' from Lefkes to Prodromos (6.5km / ~ 2hrs)

Alyki

Take a stroll in this coastal village with a picturesque port, full of fishing boats.
There's some fantastic seafood restaurants and bars where you can also soak in the surroundings by the sea.

5m drive from Alyki > Museum of Cycladic Folklore
a family-owned and built collection of exhibits reflecting Greek culture.

Enjoy some bliss at the Beach

There are beautiful, blissful and unique beaches all over the island.
There's a beach to suit any of your interests - relaxation, party, nature, or even wind/water sports.

Obviously our #1 is Chrisi Akti "Golden Beach" - with a panoramic view, soft sand and crystal blue waters.

Perfect spot for a lazy day at the beach... but also a hot spot for windsurfing!

For a unique experience:
Kolympithres (North, near Naoussa) - has rock formations like you've never seen.

Kalogeros (East, just above Piso Livadi) - has natural clay that can be used for a DIY spa treatment

Explore our personal favourite beaches on the map (but don't be afraid to hunt out your own hidden gems)

Something Else?

 Boat Trip

There are numerous companies on the island that offer trips around the island, to secluded beaches,
or you can even go to AntiParos, or other neighbouring islands (such as Naxos, Koufonisia, Santorini, Mykonos).

 Wind/Water Sports

The cyclades are renowned for its windy weather - and they make the most of it with windsurfing!

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, seek out wind/water sports at Chrisi Akti or Pounta beach (west side of the island)

 Butterfly Valley

Butterflies Nature Reserve - located on the west-side of the island.
Take a relaxing walk amongst nature and spot the vibrant butterflies they host there.

 PAWS

Off the beaten-track between Parikia and Naoussa, PAWS (Paros Animal Welfare Society) is a shelter for animals on the island. Visitors can come 9am - 1pm Mon-Sat to see the dogs and cats that are looking for a new home.
